Meet the artist

Bhaswati Sinha

Bhaswati is an artist who expresses her feelings and emotions through the glow of light she observes in the real world. She originates from a place where the love of nature comes built into every person; her father was a sculptor. Her paintings represent the spiritual balance of light and dark and their interdependence — she believes every soul is a light that illuminates the path of knowledge and righteousness.

She took an intensive art-mastery program studying old master skills and techniques at the Milan Art Institute in Arizona, and works with a strong sense of figurative artistry. All of her work is based on light and glow, in a strong chiaroscuro style, with a definite storyline: believe in yourself.

Her expertise is in mixed media — an inner layer of collage and texture for mystery, a layer of acrylic for the foundation, and a final layer of oil to balance the brightness of glowing light against the darkness around it. In Fire Joy she teaches that same approach directly, one layer at a time.
